Tuesdays and Wednesdays in February and March
Enjoy outdoor health and fitness classes from your porch or a designated park with Winter Porch Sports, a program brought to you by Wintermission Buffalo.
Winter Porch Sports is designed to engage residents in physical activity with their neighbors to decrease the effects of social isolation by giving the entire neighborhood a common goal to achieve, right on their front porches/lawns. For the events, LED Billboard trucks will drive through pre-determined neighborhood routes and parks, playing a 30-minute health and wellness exercise video for the whole neighborhood to see and join in on! There’s also a park portion in which residents can pre-register to come to work out at their local park for a refreshing change of scenery and more engagement with their winter environment.
