The purpose of this survey is to help determine who is biking across New York State, why they are riding a bike, in what context (urban, ex-urban, rural – and from small towns to large cities!) and whether or not connecting to mass transit is part of an individual’s bike equation.

All participants will be entered to win one of three $150 Planet bike gift cards being offered – and no email addresses or other personal information will be shared or saved.

As someone who has led an important small scale mobility organization, you know only too well that there is simply not enough data in the great state of New York to help policy makers, elected officials and an engaged public to accelerate more and safer cycling.

This survey can be a strong start but we need a big response in order to help build the case to insure that New York becomes an even better, and leading, state for bicycling.
