Traffic Data Analysis Platform – April 2025

GObike Buffalo is requesting quotes from traffic data analysis platform providers to support our work on the West Seneca and Orchard Park Active Mobility Action Plans. The following describes the features and data GObike is interested in purchasing. For providers that do not offer all items, please provide a quote for the items in the list that you do offer. The term for access to the platform/data will be 1 year from the date of the contract execution, unless a different term is agreed upon.

 

Features and Data

  1. Web-based platform for data queries, analysis, and visualization
    1. Multi-user access is preferred
    2. Ability to export analysis results to .xlsx/.csv and GIS shapefile
  2. Vehicle volumes and speeds at segment level
    1.  Percentile speeds, average speeds
    2. Ability to segment data by day of the week, month, time of day
  3. Pedestrian/Bicycle Activity or Volume
    1. Segment level preferred, but census tract level is acceptable
    2. Ability to segment data by day of week, month, time of day
  4. Origin Destination Analysis by Segment or Area
  5. Optional: Safety Events
    1. I.e. near misses, vehicle hard deceleration

 

Data Vintage

  • Jan 2024 through most recent available
    • If 2023 is also available, please include 2023-most recent available data in the pricing

 

Geography

  1. Town of West Seneca – entire road network
  2. Town of Orchard Park – entire road network
    1. Include the Village of Orchard Park in addition to the Town of Orchard Park
