DIY BIKE BUS! YOU CAN DO IT!

KIDS WHO RIDE TO SCHOOL SEE IMPROVED HEALTH, IMPROVED GRADES, IMPROVED CONFIDENCE, REDUCED ANXIETY

Plus, it’s really, really fun for those kids and their parents/guardians.

In order to start a Bike Bus, you do not need your school’s permission. Riding a bike to school is a viable option, just like taking the bus, walking, or being driven in alone.

So the next steps in getting one started involve:

  • Making sure your bikes are safe to operate
  • Getting educated on state and local traffic safety laws
  • Determining the safest route to school
  • Riding!
