The Buffalo News recently published a list of Buffalo restaurants with free parking.
It might sound nice but there is really no such thing as free parking. Also, our cars are decimating our planet, communities, fellow species, and personal health so we all should probably drive a lot less.
Buffalo Restaurants with Bike Parking
Yes, you can often find a secure spot to park your bike wherever you go, but ample secure and nearby bike parking available is always welcome. Some of the spots below even offer discounts for cyclists!
Community Beer Works (520 7th St, Buffalo, NY 14201)
When this brewery moved to a new location, they installed a large bike rack with room for dozens of bikes. They have also been supporting the cycling community and our organization for many years.
Essex Steet Pub (530 Rhode Island St, Buffalo, NY 14213)
In addition to plenty of bike parking, this bar is also a participant in our bicycle benefits program providing $1 off Rusty Chain drafts all night long.
Five Points Bakery (44 Brayton St, Buffalo, NY 14213)
With lots of bike parking, Five Points also provides 10% off all bread for all GObike members through our bicycle benefits program.
Flying Bison Brewery
Let us never forget 5% of sales of Flying Bison Brewery’s Rusty Chain beer resulted in hundreds of bike racks in downtown Buffalo. The brewery continues to be super bike friendly by providing ample bike parking at the brewery and offering continuous support of GObike initiatives, including the SkyRide and Slow Roll Buffalo.
Gino & Joe’s (400 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14202, 1st floor Main Place Mall)
Not only accessible by bike but also accessible by train and foot for the downtown lunch crowd. The delicious pizza is also a delight.
Larkinville (745 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY 14210)
With plenty of bike parking and lots of dining options to chose from, Larkin Square is a paradise for the hungry cyclist. Swan Street Diner, Hydraulic Hearth, and the Filling Station, along with neighboring Eckl’s and Kornerstone Cafe, are a great place to swing by and find an open bike parking spot.
Lexington Food Cooperative (807 Elmwood Avenue and 1678 Hertel Avenue)
Both locations have ample bike parking though Hertel Avenue is in desperate need of some bike infrastructure.
Remedy House (429 Rhode Island St, Buffalo, NY 14213)
The bike racks in the five points neighborhood are not only bountiful, they're pretty, too.
Sweet_Ness 7 Cafe/The Tabernacle (220 Grant St, Buffalo, NY 14213)
In addition to having plenty of bike parking, Sweetness 7 Cafe provides half off regular coffee to cyclists through our bicycle benefits program.
West Side Bazaar (25 Grant St, Buffalo, NY 14213)
Ride your bike to support the small businesses at the West Side Bazaar!
