Dread winter? Love the cold? Whether you hibernate or celebrate, the City of Buffalo wants to hear from you!
The City of Buffalo was chosen as one of three cities of 62 applicants by the 8 80 Cities Foundation to participate in a two-year program called Wintermission to combat social isolation and increase levels of physical activity in winter for all residents, no matter their age, ability, socio-economic, or ethnocultural backgrounds. GObike Buffalo worked with the City of Buffalo's Division of Citizen Services to apply for the program.
The Toronto/Austin-based 8 80 Cities Foundation team is now in town for the first time. Please join us at any of the following public engagement sessions to share your ideas about winter in Buffalo.
